Summary:

The Tax Accountant will be responsible for the maintenance of tax records and the preparation of tax returns, tax-related schedules and reports. They will prepare paperwork for local, state and federal level returns to be submitted within specified deadlines. They may analyze tax regulations to ensure all regulations are met by organization and will work closely with external EY tax advisors as the main point of contact.



In This Role, You’ll Have The Opportunity To:

• Manage sales/use tax registrations – register new states, renew expiring registrations, etc.
• Manage sales/use tax reporting (monthly, quarterly) with 3rd party tool Vertex
• Manage reseller permits for AR Customers
• Provide support and requirements for quarterly tax provision calculation and annual federal & state tax requirements
• Work in a collaborative environment with EY tax experts, Keter Global Tax managers and Keter US Accounting/Finance Team
• Become subject-matter expert for all incoming tax-related communications

What You Need To Succeed:

• Ability to communicate verbally and in written format with US and International Affiliates (fluent in English)
• Critical thinking skills, the ability to research problems and the know-how to develop solutions as it relates to accurate tax reporting
• Ability to prioritize workload with minimal manager oversight
• Math / Technical / Computer skills – SAP experience helpful, not required
• High Proficiency in Excel

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree from an accredited college or university
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, specifically with multi-state sales/use tax
